Toothbrush report

An examination of toothbrush brands and their parent companies shows even less diversity than among toothpaste brands.

Although most brands offered various types of toothbrushes, only four brands were available:
  • Oral-B
  • Aquafresh
  • Signal
  • Colgate
These brands belong to four of the same corporations as the six listed for toothpaste brands:

Colgate-Palmolive (USA):
  • Colgate

GlaxoSmithKline (UK):
  • Aquafresh

Procter & Gamble (USA):
  • Oral-B

Unilever (UK/Netherlands):
  • Signal

Based on toothpaste brands available in a CBA store in Budapest.
